The (RE)SET Packaging program brings together industrials and retailers with the common objective of removing plastics from their packaging.
We always seek the most innovative solutions that meet our partners’ needs and constraints. We therefore operate as closely as possible to them to understand the key issues at stake, and efficiently experiment our solutions.
This week, members of our team were visiting the VALRHONA and BISCUITS BOUVARD manufacturing sites.
Of course, substituting plastics with sustainable, economical and high-performance materials is a challenge ! However, this visit was a great opportunity to look in depth and in concrete terms at the different constraints that need to be taken into account, such as barrier properties and the machinability of their packaging.
Back from these visits, we feel energized, and have many ideas to build upon !
