In the past couple of years, luxury brands have accelerated their transitions towards more sustainable and resilient means of production, with significant innovations on their materials, product designs, formulations and supply chains.

🎤 In Monaco, for the 35th edition of LUXEPACK, our President, GĂ©raldine Poivert, will host two round tables with manufacturers undertaking impactful actions, and with innovative solution providers.

#1 : PIONEERING A NEW SUSTAINABLE FRAGRANCE
đź“… October, 4 - 3.30 pm

➡ Perfumes are composed of 80% to 90% of solvents, that are used to dissolve essences.

Solvents are historically made from petrochemical materials such as dipropylene glycol.
Alternatives have been developed, based on water or bioethanol.

Today, a new generation of solvents has been developed, using carbon capture technologies.
This solution avoids additional competition for raw materials, and further reduces the environmental impact of the industry's products. To expose the potential of these new chemical products, we will discuss with :

* Thierry Moliere - Head of R&D - Coty
Babette Pettersen - VP Europe - LanzaTech

#2 : SUSTAINABLE DESIGN FOR A CIRCULAR ECONOMY – WHAT’S NEXT ?

➡ We have been talking about recycling in the cosmetics industry for decades, but sustainable design is also a key challenge for a more circular economy. alongside us, these pioneers will share their most innovative initiatives :

Vincent Delavenne - Head of packaging - Coty
John M. - Director of packaging engineering - Olaplex Inc. (Nasdaq: OLPX)
